I bet when I'm back in Sg, I won't even know how to speak English anymore. And I'll be as fat as a pig.

This is my 4th day at my uncle's place, which means a small village somewhere in Sichuan. Haha. On Saturday night (1st night there) we attended a wedding dinner, and after the whole thing, I didn't even know who were the bride and groom -.-

I was watching TV and they had this riddle thing that we could call in to guess. AND THE PRIZE WAS 5000 RMB (=S$1000) + iPhone!!!!! I KNEW THE ANSWER BUT I DON'T KNOW WHY I COULDN'T REACH THEM -.- (Not because too many people were calling in. Either temp phone card can't be used or there wasn't any signal!)

Today we went to 安仁 I think. It's also this 县 near my uncle's place. We visited 刘氏庄园. It's this 地主's house and a museum about him and a bit of history of China.

Tomorrow I'll be going to 雅安. I'm practically moving all around Sichuan to eat steamboat or something! Everywhere I go, they treat me to steamboat!

Oh yeah, somebody tell me what are the approved colours for socks and rubber bands in JC leh! Thanks!

And when are they going to tell us whether we got our combi and our classes? When school starts?!

Yay, it's me again. I'm in 贵阳 now.

I went to 惠州 from wed afternoon to sat afternoon. It's about 1 1/2 hours from Shenzhen. My dad works there.

We went to 惠州西湖 on Thursday. It's somewhat like a "copy" of 杭州西湖. My dad says it's because 苏东坡 worked in 杭州 at first and the 西湖 was already there. Then 苏东坡被贬到惠州, and he saw that this lake is very nice too, so he named/made it 西湖 too. LOL. (Maybe u don't get what I'm saying luh.) I love lakes. For me, they're so much nicer than rivers/oceans/etc. (Can't post pics now cos there's sth wrong with internet D: super slow)

Afterwards, we went to watch movie. 2012. It's okay. Not very nice and not very not nice. There's this movie called State of Play which seems really nice!

On Friday we went to 东江. We walked like crazy. Seriously. I dont think I gained weight, even though I ate SO MUCH.

I was planning to go HongKong on Saturday but then, u know what, China people are not even allowed to go to their own place. WTF right. Singaporeans don't need visas to go to HK, but Chinese do?! WTH. So I need to go back Sichuan and get a visa. But I don't know whether I can get it in time :(

Now it's damn cold in Guiyang! Shenzhen was like 28 degrees and now Guiyang is about 6-10 degrees. My hands are becoming numb.

OH YEAH, this is random but my dad has perfect pitch!! So lucky right. And he is super amazed that most other people don't. And he can't believe I don't -.-
At first I thought that he has relative pitch, but then he said that he knows the note when other people play it on piano. SO!!

Now I'm at my cousin's house. My nephew grew so much! He can talk and walk now. And he looks a little different from before! His eyelashes are DAMN long. Like Indians. Super nice!

YAY we're eating steamboat/barbeque tonight. Life is so exciting here :D

OKAY GTG. BYE!

I still can't believe that the GREAT CHINA FIREWALL blocks websites like blogger and facebook. -.- I think u need to do something in order to view those websites! SIAO

Okay my first 2 days in Shenzhen:

(I don't know why the pic is so blur when I enlarged it. So I didn't enlarge it further!)
This is the plane I took from Singapore to Shenzhen

After that my dad came to pick me up and we went to his friend's house to stay. Forgot to take a pic of that house though. But that house is located right in the middle of Shenzhen and beside the government building, and guess what, I think the house is only about 100 Sq M, but my dad says it's worth 3-4 million RMB. That's like crazy! 30000-40000 for 1 Sq M. (I mean when u change it to S$ it's okay but imagine buying that in China.) They're super lucky to have bought the house quite some years ago right! Just that one flat is enough to last them a whole lifetime.

This is the government building. It's so called 大鹏展翅. Haha. Quite lame right.

This is the area beside their house. Really looks like Singapore right. I think this is the best area in Shenzhen. Really clean too. And their library and theatre (something like Esplanade) look great too!

This is their MRT. Look exactly like Singapore!

The thing I hate about some of the places is that they're really copy cat. There's this shop called Mannings, which has the exact logo as Guardian. And they have places called 桃园 and 淡水 (exactly same as Taiwan) And there's this shopping centre and MRT station called 东门町. And when I saw it, i was still wondering if they were copying 台北西门町. And when I saw the building myself, I was like......

(arg if u can't see the words, it says 东门町, then below it, it's 台北西门町)

I bought this really small umbrella (like the one Jolyn bought in America). It's nice and cheap :) Super happy about it! Actually in Singapore also have alr! but it's about 13 bucks. Mine's 30RMB I think.

Do this!

• Leave me a comment with the name of your favorite song.
• I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know you better.
• Update your journal with the answers to the questions.
• Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.

Mes questions from [info]jolynnn :

1. choose between being super smart and super rich.
2. if you could have any ONE superpower in the world, which would it be?
3. what is your favourite english song?
4. what your favourite show is (i.e. supernatural/himym/bones/?) and why.
5. who is your favourite band/singer?
ALL MUST CHOOSE ONE ONLY AH! ha ha

1. I would obviously choose super smart, if being super rich means I'm super stupid. I can never stand being stupid. And I believe if I'm super smart, I would definitely be rich, though maybe not SUPER rich.
2. What superpower? Like country??! (leave me a comment and i'll edit the post!)
Edited: HAHAHA OMG. History twists people's minds. The first thing that came to me when I saw the word "Superpower" was America and Russia. LOL.
Okay anyway, I would want to fly or u know, the thing that allows u to go to another place in 1s? What's that called? Suddenly can't think of the word!! :/ I always want to get out of certain awkward situations, and I hate taking MRTs/bus, so if I can do either, it'd be great! I think the second one is better since it saves me time, but the feeling of flying is great. So...
3. Ehhh that's a very hard question. I love Just One Last Dance (by Sarah Connor) and Colours of the Wind (I don't know if I've heard the original version before but I like the way Alisa Galper and 林凡 sings it. ). And I like some others a lot too. I really don't know :/
4. Oh. LOL. I love prison break the most cos
- Wentworth Miller is HOT
- I love this kinda plot
- Michael Scofield (MIller's character) is too clever
- A really nice show that all normal/clever/nice people would like. HAHAHAHA. By this I mean that those who don't like them are weird :D:D
5. OMG this is a question that I'll never be able to answer. By the number of songs I have of the singer divided by the total number of songs that singer has sang, the winners are 张杰 and ALin. But I do like many other singers (you should know who!) I don't really like bands generally! The best is F.I.R so far! I'm very sad that Faye doesn't sing anymore. She has a great voice and she sings really well!

:D

I'm in Shenzhen right now. Some kinda shop. buying stuff for my mum!

I might be going HongKong! :D It's only 1-2 hours from Shenzhen. Either going Disneyland or 海洋公园. They say 海洋公园 is more fun! it's like on a hill or something. must take cable car or a super long escalator!

It's really not cold at all here. And I think I'm quite lucky because apparently, just the day before I came, it was still very cold. The night I arrived, the temperature was like 20 degrees or something (my estimation). Now it's really hot too. You won't feel cold if you just wear a normal shirt!
